  • Bruce Willis

Bruce Willis -- we're loving that he (allegedly) came rushing to ex-wife Demi Moore's hospital bedside (or at very least is stepping up and being there for the couple's kids) -- has his Sun Valley <a href="http://www.realtor.com/blogs/2011/11/23/bruce-willis-lists-idaho-home-photos/" target="_hplink">Idaho ski house</a> on the market. We also love his Idaho ski house. The 56-year-old Willis bought the house, listed for $15 million, in 2003 and promptly rebuilt it. Located on Flying Heart Lake, there are multiple ponds, flowing streams and a custom pool with waterfalls on the grounds. We especially like that the outside decks and balconies are all heated; snow, you don't mess with Mr. Die Hard.

  • Terry Bradshaw

With football still in the air, we must give a nod to <a href="http://www.realtor.com/blogs/2011/12/09/pittsburgh-steelers-legen-terry-bradshaw-lists-florida-property-photos/" target="_hplink">Pittsburgh Steelers' legendary quarterback Terry Bradshaw,</a> who has his Bradenton, Florida property on the market for $1.4 million. His 5,000-square-foot estate is located on the Jack Nicklaus-designed Concession Golf Course and has an outdoor kitchen, a pool with an elevated spa and a detached guest villa. Hey, at 63, isn't the trend to move <em>to </em>Florida, not out of it?

  • Goldie Hawn

Is it us or does Goldie Hawn grow more adorable with age? The 66-year-old actress and her long-time significant other Kurt Russell bought this Malibu beach house in the 1980s and <a href="http://www.realtor.com/blogs/2011/07/18/goldie-hawn-lists-her-malibu-beach-house-for-14-749-million-photos/" target="_hplink">created a lovely zen-like retreat</a>. For years, they've collected in the $95,000-a-month range from renting it out for the summer season. Now on the market for sale at $14.75 million, word is they wanted a closer-to-town location.

  • Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne

Certainly less zen than Goldie's digs, Ozzy, 63, and Sharon Osbourne, 59, have at least two homes on the market, including their 11,000-square-foot principal residence in the Los Angeles suburb (like all of L.A. isn't a suburb?) of Hidden Hills. Hidden Hills is a gated community in the San Fernando Valley that at various times has been home to the likes of reality TV star Denise Richards and Sinbad, who sort of defies description. It was redone to the nines by interior-designer-to-the-stars Martyn Lawrence-Bullard, and recently featured in Architectural Digest. You'd never in a million years pick it out of a lineup as the home belonging to the King and Queen of Heavy Metal. Price tag: $13 million.

As someone who works as a Real Estate Agent with http://www.manhattan-condos-for-sale.com/ in New York City, I have to say that it is amazing how much press is given when a famous person is selling their apartment. What amazes me more is that even though NYers like to pride themselves as being sophisticated and savy buyers, they still seem to get more interested, and in many cases more motivated, to pay more for what a property is really worth, as long as a famous celebrity lived there at some point in time.

Like Bruce, he deserves to live well but I cannot look at this and then drive the streets here and look in the faces of people who live under bridges and be so darned charmed.

Although, from what has (apparently) happened to Demi and other stars with tons of money I have to say that the big money Hollywood spotlight is not worth it. I cannot fathom paying out what these people must pay in security and electric bills. I think I'd rather live as I do which is very low and be happy I don't have to live with security officers and the pain these guys endure.

That said I would k*ll for a good paying job where I would be respected...now that I am over 50.

I know it's not as big or as opulent, but I actually like my house better than any of these.

I Like Bruce Willis - Ever since Moonlighting... Nice house - A bit Big, But warm, inviting and tasteful. Compare that to Donald, "Gild it in Gold" Trump type utter nonsense..

Not as bad as I was expecting, with the exception of Burt Reynolds' bar/billiard room (#125), which was an all-out visual assault. My eyes are still bleeding a bit.

Nice game room, but bling blinding. Looks like the same surgeon that remodeled his house remodeled his face--starting to look like Michael Jackson!

Love Bruce Willis house the most and than Mel Gibsons and Christine Lahti ....Oprah Winfrey and Ozzys' homes were abhorring and ridiculous in their tasteless and suffocating display of opulence.

I can build a lot more character into a home for a fraction of the cost. So if any of you liked Bruce's house but don't have millions to blow contact me!

What can you do with 5.50-75-85- Six bucks? :o)

If you are talking about 550-585k I can do a lot. If you like cedar ceilings huge beams and a log home type feel I am the master. Do you own land? How many sq. feet? etc.

It's the least cluttered and least gaudy of the shown homes. They are all expensive and lavish homes, but somehow actually none of these homes "talks to me". They are all very traditional and conservative.

After suffering all 152 images stoically, I OD-ed on kitsch, degrading lack of taste and style and just plain stupidity and had to be taken away on a stretcher to the nearest emergency room where they barely revived me after numerous defib shocks.

Except for Bruce Willis' pad, which is minimally acceptable and has a certain rural warmth and charm to it, everything else is an atrocity exhibition and a crass display of mindless and brainless egomania gone completely berserk (although I have to say that Andy McDowell's Tudor mansion has a certain mystique about it). Goldie Hawn's chateau reeks of cocaine in copious quantities and is an unbelievable showcase of tastelessness, cluelessness, kitsch, tchotchkes, bric-a-brac and just plain narcissism all mixed in with wanton disregard for form, function, style or beauty (I didn't see any rosey-cheeked cherubs suspended from the chandeliers, but I am sure they are there someplace), and Oprah's faux-Versailles (facade, not the interior) is to literally die OF...these images should be shown with a warning that says: "Caution: graphic images...may disturb members of the intelligent audience and cause uncontrollable bowel movement"

But Sharon Osbourne takes the cake. I could literally write a book about oblivious tastelessness based on these few images alone. She transcended plain ugly, wheezed past dumb and reached the nirvana of sublime mind-numbness in one easy step. After seeing her hacienda, I am not in pain anymore.

I agree with your clever review!
Oprah's is the worst of all and reveals her huge ego and complete lack of taste.
I do love Bruce's home and can see myself living there very happily.

Bruce's home is the only one I could live in. The rest I would easily decline ever if they were donated to me -- except, perhaps, to flip 'em for profit. Can you imagine living alone, or alone-ish, or with 20 hostile butlers, servants and chambermaids in a chateau like Oprah's? No wonder Lady Macbeth went bonkers.
