Ridley Scott On Possibly Reuniting With Harrison Ford For 'Blade Runner' Follow-Up: 'Nothing Would Please Me More'

Ridley Scott Doesn't Know If Harrison Ford Will Be In 'Blade Runner' Follow-Up

Let director Ridley Scott clear up those rumors about Harrison Ford potentially coming back for the follow-up to "Blade Runner."

"Don't know yet. Don't know yet," Scott told EW.com when asked about Ford's possible involvement. "I'm not sure that that's going to be a story point, so I don't know. But if it were, nothing would please me more. Honestly." So you're telling us there's a chance?

Of course, before Ford could even get involved in the next chapter of "Blade Runner," Scott would have to figure out whether it was a prequel or a sequel -- something he has yet to do.

Scott's non-denial of the Ford story is in stark contrast to what Alcon Entertainment president Andrew Kosove said in a recent interview: "It is absolutely patently false that there has been any discussion about Harrison Ford being in 'Blade Runner.'"

Once Scott and Alcon get on the same page, you can probably expect some forward progress on the project. Until then, just stay excited for "Prometheus," a Ridley Scott maybe-prequel film that actually exists.
