'The Big Bang Theory': Sheldon Attempts To Dissect A Brain (VIDEO)

Sheldon Dissects A Brain On 'Big Bang Theory'

There is nothing on this Earth Dr. Sheldon Cooper can't do. Especially in the field of science. Just ask him. Actually, that answer may have to change after the events of this week's "The Big Bang Theory" (Thu., 8 p.m. EST on CBS).

After being forced to take his vacation days, Sheldon decided to instead broaden his horizons by helping Amy at her lab. But Sheldon is a physicist with no practical experience in a biology lab, so Amy had him washing beakers and doing other menial chores to break him in. Something Sheldon decided was completely beneath him.

So Amy put him to the test, offering to let him dissect a portion of a brain. With his vaunted arrogance put to the test, Sheldon had to go so far as to claim his hand was trembling with confidence. One slice later, he asked if it was supposed to be bleeding. It wasn't. But his thumb certainly should be bleeding after he'd cut it like that.

At the mere sight of the blood Sheldon passed out. Later, hanging at the bar because that's what people do, he got a second look at it and passed out again. Vacation does not suit Dr. Sheldon Cooper at all, though his colleagues at the university probably appreciated the break.

Catch "The Big Bang Theory" every Thursday at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
