Gingrich is losing his grip on the South. I suspect he'll be the next candidate to drop out ... unless there's a Santorum scandal (a la Perry, Cain, Bauchmann).

Rick really needs to focus on keeping his foot on Newt's throat through Super Tuesday. Leave Mitt alone for now. If he can get Newt to finish below himself and Mitt in southern states, Newt should be pretty dead by then, and Rick would have a much better shot at Mitt.

"I think Rick's shot is a brokered election (or a VP slot). As
such, assuming the Newt takes votes from Mitt more than he does
from_Santorum, Rick wants newt to stay in the race. And he
definitely want Ron Paul in till the end, since Paul I'm sure
takes votes away from Mitt."

I doubt it. You saw in MO what can happen when Rick got Mitt one-on-one.

Romney's attacks on Rick are pretty weak too.
