Wendy started the interview by asking Vanessa about rumors that there will be a shocking character death during the show's stretch run, and joked that she all but assumed it would be "the black person." Vanessa couldn't say either way; the show still has seven more episodes left to shoot, she reported, and even the cast isn't given the scripts until the day before shooting."We have no idea, I just hope I'm alive," she quipped about her character Renee Perry.
Felicity Huffman, on the other hand, seems to be rooting for multiple characters to be killed off. In a January interview with The Huffington Post, she said, "I think a couple 'Housewives' should die. I think it would be good."
When Wendy's mom Sheryl, who was sitting in on the interview, asked Vanessa about the mood on the set, she reported it hadn't gotten too emotional yet. "There were no tears yet," she said, because they'll be shooting until April.
The conversation then turned to Williams' plans after the show's end, she reminded the audience just how multi-faceted a performer she is. "I've got the book that I wrote with my mom coming out in April, so we'll be out on the circuit for that. And then, back in the studio, want to make some music, maybe the theatre, then I hope to be back on another show."
