Kenny Lattimore Professes His Love For Tim Tebow: Love Of The Game

In our weekly "Love Of The Game" series, HuffPost Black Voices talks sports with a person of note. This week we caught up with Grammy-nominated singer Kenny Lattimore, who shared his feelings on the NFL's latest sensation, Tim Tebow.

I think what's fascinating about it is that we live in a society of people who are so judgmental. I just think it's so crazy how judgmental people are that we try to view a person and try to figure out what their motive is, instead of just asking what their motive is. And if you don't believe it, you don't believe it. But we try to kill people based on what their own personal convictions are. OK, this guy wants to pray [in the end zone], and then there's some people that dance, and then there's some people who back flip into the end zone. This brother prays. So that was a fascinating one in sports this year. The attention that they [the media] gave it, which I'm not sure it warranted as much attention, but I'm a man of faith so I'm glad that it did. I hope it inspired people to be people of personal convictions that will go forth with their beliefs no matter what.
