The Grammys, like the weather, are beyond our control. The awards are decided by a council of bearded elders who think Jethro Tull is a metal band and Bon Iver is a "new artist," and that's not about to change. Still, it's fun to think about how we would do things differently, and in steeling ourselves for this year's marathon telecast, we dashed off a quick 2012 Grammy wish list.
