Jennifer Hudson's Whitney Houston Grammy Tribute, 'I Will Always Love You'

Jennifer Hudson Honors Whitney Houston

Jennifer Hudson's emotional tribute to Whitney Houston went off without a hitch, high notes and all.

Hudson performed the late singer's cover of Dolly Parton's song "I Will Always Love You" on a simple black stage and became visibly emotional during the performance.

The late singer presented Hudson with her first Grammy in 2008, and Hudson admitted that meeting Houston, who she has said inspired her career, "almost overshadowed getting the Grammy."

At a pre-Grammy event, Hudson said Houston's tune "I Will Always Love You" inspired her, adding that she would "create duets with her because I wanted to sing with Whitney Houston." Hudson was reportedly in tears during rehearsals, but was able to make it through the performance.

What did you think of Hudson's rendition of "I Will Always Love You?"
