When you know the root, you know the fruit. When it comes down to it, satan killed Whitney Houston because satan is at the root of the music industry. The music industry steals, kills, and destroys people.

God is going to change the music industry so that talented people like Whitney Houston can be spared a life of drugs, witchcraft, deception, and death.

How is God going to do it? By using us to expose the principalities at the top and kill the idols from the root.

She still has a chance, after you die you await the resurrection. At that point you are judged as righteous or unrighteous according to how you respond then. What she did in the past will not be against her, since the wages sin pays is death. Romans 6:23; John 5:26-29.

Just singing songs about Jesus wont get you in the Kingdom of God.
Only living His doctrine will.

It takes everything one has to buy that field with the treasure.
Its too bad people rely on teachers instead of studying a King James Bible for themselves.
Its also too bad that these false teachers have lowered the standard.
Many will say to me on that day, Lord Lord and I will say, depart, I never knew you, you workers of iniquity. ( they couldn't put sin away)

As a Christian, all I can say is that Whitney give your fans all that she had inside of her as a singer. She gave her husband all that she had as a wife, even became a drug addict for him, so that he would stay home and doesn't go partying. But, she never forgotten who GOD was or is, for she always goes back to her faith, loving him, talk about him and hoping he would help her in her trouble life. She never forgot where she started, and that the same place where she has gone.

I just love reading the ramblings of clueless Christians whom profess to know what will happen to a person upon their death. The bible is the last source that should be turned to for the answer, for it is far too corrupt.

The music business is a dog-eat-dog, chew-em-up-and-spit-em-out, what have you done for me "today", ride-em till they drop then bring in a new horse, cut throat, throw-em to the wolves if they ever fail to perform enterprise that would make the best of us seek relief in whatever bottle or pill that can temporarily relieve the anxiety, fear, and pain of living in a goldfish bowl where everyone on the bottom is hoping you'll fall so they can take your place at the top. It was too much for Witney. May she rest in peace.

Rather it is those who think they can judge others claiming they are Holier then Thou, in their self boasting failing to realize they too are sinners in need of great mercy also. Boasting of such is not humility is it? Boasting is sin itself and so stated by God written. Was not those who knew they were sinners, but those who claimed they were holier then thou who crucified Christ was it not? Jesus choose to pall around with sinners, ate with them, stayed with them, walked among them, preached to them, cried with them, served them, cured them of their ills and defended them instead and rebuked those who judged them, forcing them all to do their Will?

I would not call performing with-in a narrow minded auspicies of priests faith. I would be banned from playing church as I am sure the Foo fighters would be as well however I would still classifty their music as a form of Gospel. As well as Elton John who I would also label a Gospel pianist. Take the religion out of these categories and speak about techniques and humanistic seed words instead. Religious people want to claim that their sentiments speak for everyone they don't. But it takes on a while to gain enough foot hold along other directions to begin to talk back to this ilk. Once we do we don't let them tell us to shut up.

thanks and in reading what is written in OT all sung songs in praising God, singing of their troubles to Him, in Praising Him and in asking God for their needs was done so in songs unto the Lord. Moses recited the Songs of the Law for all to hear. In OT sayings are found in many many verses, We sang of our sorrows unto the Lord, We lifted up our voices in Song unto the Lord, Lord hear our songs of praises unto thee, Scholars even say the Psalms were sung, I lifted up my soul in song unto the Lord, I Will sing hymns unto the Lord, Sing hymns to the Lord enthroned on Zion. I guess one might say Jesus did not turn the other cheek did He? Jesus let the Truth be known, but to those who judged Him, did not like that did they? Why He was crucified? God has long been waiting for us all to do the same? Jesus said, Follow Me.

Has one missed the whole point of what the true message was or her precious gifted life and great love of gospel songs in praising God was all about? If her whole gifted life, if God  whole purpose for doing so, ones  sole purpose, work to do and in doing so, in great personal  suffering, was to be greatly recognized by many millions around the world, was Her last song sung, to be heard, was  Jesus Loves Me. Was a message from God, for all to hear, to  give us all this message,  who ever doubts this, because of others judging us,  because of our own personal failings, is to know that Jesus Loves Me. Everyone, who ever was chosen by God, all suffered great personal persecution in their own personal life.Moses for one, Jesus for another, John Baptize, even Job, Noah. We learn nothing from Success, but it is our failures, that bring us all to success. What we think of others as being a failure, does God judge them as being successful in accomplishing the purpose for which they were created for? The wooden cross was not successful, but only to  those who judged Jesus.  But Jesus who hung on the cross was Victorious. Jesus also had those who called themselves Holier then Thou, judging Him, who were the very ones who crucified Him were they not?

Thank God He sent His son Jesus who came to lay down His life, for all of us who are all sinners. All mankind who all of us who were not worthy to enter the Kingdom. Jesus knew all mankind addictions, Adultery? greed? Liars? gossipers? man made wars? stealing? holding others in their bondage? ha*e, jealousy? judging others? boasting? malice? fraud? heartless? spite? List is very long, goes on in Romans Chapter 1, at the end  listing all sins that separate us from God, God said, all who doe such things are  worthy of death. Interesting. All are in need of Mercy why would one deny himself or herself mercy by judging others? Judging also is a sin. Judge others by the Laws, one also will be judged under the Laws. Love all

Whitney Houston was a tragic story, especially the last half of her life. She started out with such promise. Did she have deep faith? I have no idea. She was beautiful in appearance, her voice was a wonderful instrument. But it seems she was the classic Hollywood story. The lifestyle of super-stardom is anything but a good lifestyle. Too much money, too many influences, lifestyles of all those surrounding you is disgusting oftentimes and if you are not ready for that, plus the onslaught of the public into your private life, then you will be eaten alive and spit out, as so many were and are. Very few, I believe, could remain sane after all that pressure. The best drugs, alchohol, doctors, publicists, agents, always pushing and pushing. And you do not know who your true friends are. She is gone now, her future is in Gods hands, so to speak, now, and is not ours to judge, as it never was in the first place.

We can learn from the lesson of her life, perhaps. Are we content with a simple life? Do we need excesses to fulfill us? Can they? As Scriptures say: "Stop storing up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break in and steal. Rather store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moths nor rust consumes, and thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, their will be your heart also".

God created us all, for all that God created was good, mankind. We all  started out  being given such great promise, but in the end we all have tragic stories in failing to meet, attain personally  that great Promise. Why no peace still on earth today? We all have a classic Hollywood story, having to much of what we do not need, for enough is never enough, never satisfied. I admire her greatly, for she knew who failings, weakness of her flesh, and felt not worthy of Jesus great  Love for her. That is pure humility, in her confessing of Truth before Jesus, whom she loved dearly and never gave up in Her great Love for Jesus, but only that she failed Him.   She never gave up on her great Faith and Love in  Jesus, but in a  truth of conscience, confession personally, to the Jesus she loved so, so Dearly,  in  confessed her own weakness in letting Him down, truly sorrowful of such. But she conquered this guilt the devil was placing forcing on Her. Her last song she sung tells us all, Jesus Loves Me, that she finally conquered her demons who sought to tell her other wise.  Jesus tells us, He will never abandon us or leave us orphans, let not the demons tell you otherwise. For Jesus on the Cross tells us all that is not True. God's Love is unconditionally and knows we are very little and the demon roams in his world we all live in, he is looking for a home to enter. To destroy, why Jesus came. And Jesus who said on the cross to the devil, who thought he won, when seeing Jesus on the Cross. On the Cross,  Jesus asked the devil. O death O death where art Thy Sting now? The devil the  great deceiver was deceived was he not? Our sins have been paid for in full. Yes, Jesus Loves Me, this I know. O devil who tempts all, who sets out to tempt and make us all feel guilt in thinking Jesus does not love us.  Yes, Jesus Loves Me.

I respect what you say, that you believe it, but, her saving will come through her judgement only and knowing that God is so great and has such compassion for mankind, I do not worry about what he decides. He alone sees what the heart is and is judgement will be true and right.

Do we has humans measure judge things wrongly?  Maybe in God's eyes she is a success story. For she knew her own personally weakness, her great disappointment, to the Jesus she loved so, so dearly?  She lived her personal Life relationship with Jesus in pure  Truth. In pure humility before Him,   She never surrendered her great Love for Jesus ever. As much as ones demons try to place such guilt upon us, to hold us in his bondage, she conquered. that demon, who was trying to tell her other wise, Jesus does not love you.  But in the end, She conquered her demon, she  was victorious. Her   last song sung, was not by luck, her message was, Jesus Loves Me. Welcome Home faithful servant. You fought the good fight till the end and has conquered, the demon lost,  Jesus Loves Me. Love all dearly.

She is so right. Jesus does love her. Jesus loves all the sons of men. So sad that she died . May The Father Jehovah send relief to all of her family and may the have peace. She was dead, there is no pain or payment due. She will be resurrected just like everyone else that are dead. Her soul went back to God the Almighty for the day that Jesus will call out every body that are in death will bring back to life.. Jesus told us and if you don't believe . Look at Lazarus.. for it is written....

God said commanded all,  Stop your judging, far better for you to pray for them. Those who judge others condemn themselves to judgment also.  One will be surprised who will be sitting on God's lap you think? Love all dearly.

God doesn't give gifts, because God doesn't play favorites. People create their own gifts, always did and always will.... I hope in her next live she will be able to over come her addiction.

People create their own gifts? I don't think so. We all have different gifts that we didn't "earn" on our own. No matter how much most of us try, we will never sing like Whitney did. It is what we do with what God gives us that makes the difference.

I think people would listen better if you spent more time typing out the glories of God with spell-check. No offense, but you are in such a rush to type out God's message that you destroy it with errors...

minor flaw? yes. but if you're going to proclaim the glory of the LORD, please take the time to spell it all right.

It absolutely is not. With all of the atheists on this blog and their horrible remarks, attacking those for their faith and Whitney for hers, it is very appropriate. Oh, I see. The difference is that it was one of their own, so off limits? I would imagine that in her hour of need, Madlyn possibly came to a different conclusion.
