Ashanti Sex Shoes Grab Our Attention At Fashion Week (PHOTOS)

New York Fashion Week always rustles up some old faces and names we haven't seen in a while (what's up, Uma Thurman).

This weekend brought a name from our childhood back to the front row: Ashanti.

In case you were unaware (we were), the "Always On Time" singer's got a new single, "The Woman You Love" to promote, so she cozied up next to pal Michelle Williams at the Falguni & Shane Peacock runway show and promoted away: her outfit consisted of a totally sheer dress, covered with strategically placed fabric panels, and "sex" shoes.

Her pointy-toed heels featured a cursive "SE" on the right foot and a "X" on the left, which when she brought her feet together seemed to spelled the word "SEX."

Needless to say, Ashanti's back on our radar now.

...she was on GMA on Monday, promoting her new album dropping in Aug. I didn't care for the song she was performing. It's a departure from R & B. It was weird...lol. She had a wild catsuit on at that.
