GIVEAWAY: Valentine's Staples At IKEA

First Posted: 02/13/2012 11:33 am   Updated: 02/13/2012 4:39 pm

We at Kitchen Daily have been stocking you up with Valentine's Day recipes over the past week, but what we aren't able to give you are the tools to make your romantic meal come into fruition. That's why we've got a great giveaway for you from IKEA!

We're giving away two $100 gift cards to the home-goods megastore, which -- in case you didn't know -- happens to carry a lot more than assemble-it-yourself furniture. Give their home-goods section a spin next time you're in the neighborhood, and you'll see they've got lots of goodies you'll find useful for your kitchen, including some great last-minute staples for Valentine's Day.

Need to make someone a special breakfast in bed, but you don't have a tray to serve it on? IKEA's got you covered. And wouldn't a fresh cup of coffee be great with that breakfast? Imagine how much better it'd be with a heart-shaped dusting of cinnamon on top -- IKEA's got a decorating set to help make it happen.

We've also given you 28 recipes for chocoholics, but these chocolate cakes are even more adorable if they're served in a heart-shaped silicon mold. IKEA's got you covered there, too. Check out the slideshow below to learn more about these products.

All you need to do to enter is leave a comment below telling us why you love IKEA. Show some love and enter now!

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 18 and older. We love IKEA because we can outfit our apartment in style while on our strict grad student budget.

I love the way items throughout IKEA coordinate with each other for decorating a cohesive home.

I have loved Ikea since the first time I set foot in the store. I could go broke there if it wasn't at least a 2 hour drive for me. Worth the trip when I can get away to go.

My husband and I have bought many pieces from ikea and they've held up very well - they're almost in every room of our house! My favorite purchase though would be the rocking chair that sits in our 5 1/2-month old son's room - it's very special to us! :)

IKEA is awesome! We were just there this weekend. You can not go into that store and come out empty-handed!
We spent 14 months doing a complete remodeling of our kitchen. All of the cabinets came from IKEA, along with a ton of accessories. We love the drawer and door dampeners, automatic closers, sectional dividers, lighted glass enclosed shelves, slide-out baskets... everything!
IKEA is without a doubt, hands down, no questions asked, the best store we've ever been in.
Love the place!

Oh, I LOVE that place! My husband and I have to drive over an hour to get there, but it is SO worth it. Even he loves to walk around in there and he is not normally into shopping at all. I especially love their living room vignettes - they make me really want to go sit down, kick my shoes off and watch a good movie! The only problem is that when I get home I always feel so dissatisfied with my own living room, which is really pathetic that a staged living room in a huge store is more cozy and inviting than the one in my own house that I've been working on for years. Oh well, maybe it's because all the furniture has been cat shredded and there's furballs in the corners... :P

IKEA is so much fun. I just love going through their store. The designers do a great job with the showrooms using everything from the store. It really gets you thinking about what is possible in your own place. The chairs/furniture are very unique and comfortable. (always a conversation piece) After viewing the showrooms, you stop for a bite to eat at their cafe (great food) and then GO SHOPPING!! Everything is very reasonable priced, so you can't walk out of the store without buying something. The sales staff have always been very helpful and courteous. I have numerous items from IKEA and LOVE them!!

I like IKEA for their different ideas. They have quality items. Every few months I go and shop and get knick knacks, etc, to change things up at home as I like to change things frequently. IKEA's prices let me do that. ANd they have delicious frozen yogurt and hot dogs!
