Olivia Palermo Rochas Perfume Contract Marks First For It-Girl (PHOTOS)

Add Perfume It Girl to the long list of of jobs Olivia Palermo has held in the fashion world.

The socialite and former "The City" star has been picked to be the face of Rochas' new scent. She recently told Women's Wear Daily about the Parisian brand, which will debut its new fragrance later this month in Paris:

"While Rochas has ingrained French roots, I think every woman can get the sense of joie de vivre and confidence in their style that the Parisians emanate. I always like to be a bit more fashion-forward and playful in my style choices when I visit Paris."

And while Palermo is thrilled to be a part of the mega fashion and beauty house, which will essentially up her celeb status, she recently told Styleite she won't be covering the Oscars on her new website because she prefers "real" style over celebrity style:

"I don't think our website will cover them [the Oscars], because for me it's more about kind of like the real girl, someone who's in fashion, not necessarily such a who's a celebrity. I kind of like to have everyone's own personal style take on it and girls from all around the world, because I think those are the cooler girls."

Sounds like Palermo is playing both sides of the fence, but we still love her style and constantly look forward to see what she'll blog about next.
