French Elle Dubs Plus Size Model Tara Lynn 'The Body' On February Cover (PHOTO, VIDEO)

Watch out, Elle "The Body" Macpherson: Elle France has given your famous nickname to another gorgeous model.

The French magazine features plus-size model Tara Lynn, who's wearing a lace tee, heels and not much else, on its February cover, and they've dubbed her in bold letters "The Body."

No disrespect to Elle M., but we're kind of loving it.

The mag put Tara on the cover once before, back in 2010, and she's since posed for the cover of Vogue Italia -- no small potatoes gig, that's for sure.

Seattle-based Lynn, who speaks French due to a six-year stint living in the country, has also landed a major H&M campaign last year for the "Big is Beautiful" swimwear line.

a "beautiful" body is more about proportions not your total weight. Big or small, if a woman has no muffin top and a >.7 waist-to-hip ratio any guy will find her attractive

we also should not judge people for their weight. just like there are many skinny people who stay skinny no matter what they eat some overweight people can have a hard time losing weight and for all you know they can be trying very hard to lose weight.

Would you say that Jessica Biel, Jaime Pressly, Evangeline Lilly, and Gina Carano are not healthy looking women? I would. I would say they have gorgeous bodies. Ideal, even.

Now a days if you are not a size 2 you are plus size. Not saying its right but that is what Hollywood and the magazines have brainwashed the masses to think.

It's an industry term to describe sizes over a sample 6, not to describe the actual model. And yes, a double digit pants size is certainly plus size. Don't fool yourself.

Stupid, is what it is. A woman who is 5'4 or so, weighing 120-130 (WELL within prescribed weight range) and who wears a 10 - 12, even a 14 (depending on cut) would be a plus size.

"REAL WOMAN< REAL WOMEN" Enough already. What do real women really look like? They look like the model above, they look like the women who have fought breast cancer and lost their breasts or hair to chemo. They look like young women thinking in order to get someone to love them they have to stop eating. They look like me as I get older. This "REAL" crap is a stereotype we get beaten over the head with so often that we honestly believe it's okay to jab needles in our faces with a chemical once used to poison people. And no, I haven't, and wont use the stuff, but i'm not angry with any one that wants to. "REAL" is living your life the way you want to live it, however you look. Because we are all really chasing the clock to the grave, and that's the only thing REAL about all this.

I think what many are trying to say here about a "real" woman is that most models are suffering from anorexia and are way too thin and thus setting an example to women that this is how they are supposed to look and 5"10 and a size zero is NOT healthy but appealing to certain men who think with the wrong head. All women are "real" no matter their size, and we were not all meant to be the same size. My sister and I could eat the same thing day after day and she would still be overweight and I would remain a size four. We were not all meant to be thin and I think we should embrace beauty in all sizes. Men, the same thing goes for you. No matter how many weights you lift, when you get older you simply look like an older buff man in an older man's body, despite what you think, you don't look 25, but it's ok, you are still beautiful!
