Judge Andrew Napolitano, Canceled Fox Host, Tells His Fans To Stop Angry Emails

Fox Business

Judge Andrew Napolitano is trying to calm his outraged followers after the cancellation of his Fox Business show.

The low-rated network axed "Freedom Watch," along with the rest of its prime-time lineup, last week.

Ever since then, Napolitano has had to send repeated messages to his fans to stop bombarding Fox News with angry emails.

In his latest note, posted to his Facebook page on Monday, Napolitano sounded a note of optimism, even as he sternly told his team to cut it out:

In television, shows are cancelled all the time. Two of my former shows have been cancelled, and after each cancellation, Fox has rewarded me with more and better work. This cancellation--along with others that accompanied it--was the result of a business judgment here, and is completely unrelated to the FreedomWatch message. It would make a world of a difference for all of us, if you would KINDLY STOP SENDING EMAILS TO FOX. I am well. Your values are strong. I will continue to articulate those values here at Fox. But the emails many of you are sending are unfairly interfering with my work and that of my colleagues here. The emails even violate our values because they interfere with the use of private property. I have accepted the cancellation decision with good cheer and a sense of gearing up for the future. You should as well.

As a favor to me, and as I have asked this past weekend, PLEASE STOP SENDING EMAILS TO MY COLLEAGUES AT FOX ABOUT THE CANCELLATION OF FreedomWatch; and please stop NOW.

This is probably the best five minutes of television I've ever heard. You can't possibly break down what he said any clearer than he sahttp://www.liveleak.com/view?source=patrick.net&i=52b_1329796059id himself.

I've been thinking, still would not vote in the GOP, even if he believes it so. I do think there is some difference in the long run between the parties, and this is why. When Democrats are in office, it seems to me groups that are usually shunted to the side, are helped, missions and food banks seem to swell, and the attitude is kinder, but when the Republicans are in office and I say this sincerely, it just seems they do not care...and though he makes a great case for something we all kind of feel at times, there does seem to be a definite difference, and those in society that the Republicans won't help or fight for because they are not mainstream, the Democrats will do so, and uphold their rights..along with the environment, it cannot be denied, there are differences no matter what. Jus a few thoughts I had.

I just love this man, the only good person on Fox. Hearing a youtube video of his last segment, was amazin. I think I just heard the raw truth about govt, and maybe that is what we all needed to hear from someone in the know, with integrity. I am shaken to my very core hearing what he had to say. I already knew Judge Napolitano was a man of integrity but his words here really shook me up, in a good way I think, so Thank you Judge:).

Exactly. Fos is number one in cable news ten years in a row and have 13 of their commentators in the top 13. The left wing hacks like to spin the truth. and please don't send me replies i do watch other news blah blah blah.

They say Fox News is low rated? Compared to what? Certainly not MSNBC.

The fact that judge Napolitano has been silenced is enough to make me want to walk on washington. He was our unafraid voice in a marksist world. Let's stand up and be counted. Dont let them take our only voice away!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll notice that people who are fired (obviously) for political/social rants like this are very regular folks. What I mean by that is: as far as I can recall, the ones who are fired are those who are hired based on their "brilliance" in their job. By brilliance, I mean their ability to fulfill the role of a "media" member.

The media's primary job is to be the eyes and ears for the public. In areas like politics, that is, they are needed to keep TPTB in check, by reporting and commenting on issues like this one. In actuality, in 2012, you know you ARE doing your job when you get fired from it. That means you are speaking up.

Compare that with all the manicured, pretty faces who populate the news. These people tend to be the ones hired according to their appearance, and most often lack the character that is needed to stand up for justice. These people are the ones who rise through the ranks, saying everything the corporation wants them to say.

How predictable. A former TV judge from LA gets a national audience on a multinational corporate media station and then gets cancelled.

Judge Napolitano was a constitutional scholar who could clearly articulate and explain the constitution and our founding documents. The fact that some people think he is out of the mainstream of modern thought shows how bad our educational system is and how far we have strayed from those principles that made this country great. The further we get away from them, the lower we sink.

so our educational system is bad because everyone isn't a libertarian? interesting.
07:57 AM on 02/18/2012
It's bad, because we've strayed from our principals. What's the primary word in,
"Libertarian"? LIBERTY! and we've lost alot of it thanks too your line of thinking!

Can anyone admit he was right about criticizing the provisions of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that codified the power of the executive branch to detain indefinitely any US citizen with charges or trial on American soil? The bill was signed into law on New Years eve with serious reservations (1) by the president.

How many others "talking heads" have displayed the fortitude to criticize this evisceration of the Bill of Rights let alone even mention those provisions?

(1) The pres stated he would not exercise those powers. The problem is those powers were handed to future administrations.

He said he would use super pacs either. How's that working for you? The problem is that ANY US President has those powers.
