The 'Miracle Dress' Will Be Huge This Fall (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: How You Can Get The 'Miracle' Dress

In case you were losing sleep over it, we've identified the biggest (and most wearable) trend to emerge from New York Fashion Week: The Miracle Dress. You might be having flashbacks to September, when Kate Winslet wore it to her "Mildred Pierce" premiere and set the media's collective loins ablaze. The "Ottavia," a racer tank dress with dark panels on the side, had gone down the runway for Stella McCartney's fall 2011 collection, but runway models are no Kate Winslet. If you bring the curves, this dress brings the contour.

Obviously Winslet liked the response because she wore it again -- in red and black -- one month later at the premiere of "Carnage." And before we knew it, celebrities were popping up all over the place in this very same dress, which is about as common as lightning striking twice (publicists basically exist to make sure things like that don't happen). Former "X Factor" judge Nicole Scherzinger also wore it on the August cover of InStyle UK.

Now the trend is here to stay: designers Phillip Lim and Victoria Beckham just showed their versions of the dress at their Fall/Winter 2012 shows in New York, and DKNY and Forever 21 are currently selling their take.

Meanwhile, check out the other Stella McCartney dress Winslet wore that showed off much more than her curves.
