Valentine's Day In College: HuffPost College Readers Share Their Depressing Valentine's Day Plans

What is Valentine's Day for a college student? Is it awesome? Or is it merely a weird holiday where some people get carnations in the dining hall and some people study desultorily for a physics test?

We asked our readers what they were doing on Valentine's Day, and we have to say we were surprised by how depressing some of their plans were. So much studying! However, at least we know that HuffPost College readers are really good students. And hey, if you don't have Valentine's Plans, don't despair. No one does in the world.

Wish I would have seen this earlier. My Valentines day was just awesome. I walked my dog, went to work, came home walked the dog again. Had dinner by myself. Watched some T.V. and went to sleep. What a great day.No flowers, no cards. Just me and my dog hanging out. Doesn't get any better.
