Naked Bondage Sex Game Mistaken For Kidnapping: Stephanie Pelzner, Nikolas Harbar Arrested

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 02/15/2012 9:23 am Updated: 02/15/2012 7:54 pm

They wanted bondage, and they wound up in handcuffs.

A Portland, Ore., couple was arrested on Valentine's Day after cops mistook a bound and naked woman in the back of a car for a crime in progress, The Los Angeles Times reported.

Nikolas Harbar, 31, was only "role-playing" when he allegedly tied up his naked girlfriend, 26-year-old Stephanie Pelzner and threw her in the back of his Subaru in the early afternoon, according to a police report. But the ball-and-chain action went awry when cops got a call from a concerned witness.

"Officers continued to check the area, concerned for the welfare of the bound and naked female," the report reads. "The vehicle was spotted ... an officer made contact with a male walking away from the car and noticed a bound and naked female in the back of the car."

Harbar told cops that the two "were just having some fun," and Pelzner confirmed that "she was voluntarily bound and nude." But officers weren't so quick to laugh it off -- After all, they had already sent at least nine patrol cars to look for the sex fiends, Fox News reported.

"The concern is their actions created a pretty substantial public alarm, to the point where you have a 911 caller saying she's concerned about this person tied up naked in the back of a car," Lt. Robert King, bureau spokesman, told the Los Angeles Times. "Why would the officers think it was a Valentine's Day thing ... it creates a lot of concern from the public."

Harbar and Pelzner were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, but released later that day.

wow........... THERE ARE TO MANY SICK PEOPLE THAT LIVE IN THIS COUNTRY!
04:02 AM on 12/03/2012
Um, it seems here that they were arrested because the cops were angry over having to Do Their Job and not because of any actual infraction of the law. I love that we live in a country where an angry cop can arrest you for no reason.
And only in America, where our cop's are obsessed with arresting anyone for everything and anything, could a couple's valentine's day consensual kinky whatever end in mugshots!

Not my particular fantasy, but I agree that people should step out of bounds (oops, bad choice of words; that is what happens when one tries to avoid a cliché [out of the box]) more often.

People who engage in this type of "role-playing" need serious mental help. A fantasy of being kidnapped isn't normal.

Come on, you never played cops and robbers as a kid? Cowboys and Indians? Do you think people who are into bondage need serious help? How about homosexuals? Where do you draw your line of judgement of others fantasy games? I tell you what I find sick, all the people on WoW going up to other characters and humping them, what is up with that? These people have an active sex life, they were having fun, nothing more. I do not think there is anything wrong with this other than it said she was naked in the back seat. She should have been covered up like others have said. Creativity in the bedroom makes for a longer life of sex and love. At least that is my opinion. Who wants to stick to the missionary position every night? (Not that there is anything wrong with that position).
06:21 AM on 06/06/2012
WoW players do that because its funny and annoying to the other player. They do it for a goof. It's not a sexual thing.

I get that it used a lot of manpower- but that's their JOB. Once they found out it wasn't an actual crime they should have just released them- and given them a warning to keep such shenanigans indoors and away from the public who might misinterpret it.
