Jeremy Lin No Longer Sleeping On Couches, Moves To White Plains Trump Towers (PHOTO, VIDEO)

From sleeping on the couch...to the Trump Towers!

After a LINstant classic victory over the Toronto Raptors Tuesday night, breakout Knicks star Jeremy Lin is finally done crashing on his friends' couches.

Lin will be subletting an apartment at Trump Towers in White Plains of former Golden State Warriors teammate, and ex-Knick David Lee, The New York Post reports. A source at the building told The Post, "It is very common for new Knicks to stay at the Trump Tower in White Plains while they get acclimated to the city,” adding, "The Knicks keep players there when they are new. Sometimes they stay, sometimes they find places on their own there. Amar'e was there before getting his place. Every Knick player is there before finding their own apartment."

And whether Lin decides to stay in the apartment, the luxe pad in the 35-story building in Westchester (with "white glove service and 24/7 valet parking" and "Brazilian cherry wood cabinetry") is a far cry from his brother's couch in the Lower East Side, and the couch of teammate and friend Landry Fields, both places where Lin crashed when Linsanity took hold of the city.

On Sunday, Fields tweeted this picture of the couch, writing: "Ladies and gentleman, the one and only couch made famous by @JLin7! Let the bidding begin!"

Couldn't happen to a nicer more humble guy. maybe "linsanity" will take hold of the NBA and the players will realize that arrogance and holier than thou attitudes really aren't the way to a fans heart. kudos to mr. lin. Not only is he cool, the boy can flat out play.. continued success... and if you need a couch to crash on when in Chicago, look me up, I'd be honored to let you crash at my house...

This is such a great Cinderalla story. Its one of those stories that make you believe that dreams do come true. Its just amazing how this is sweeping the world. Its like you wake up one day and you are world famous after coming literally from out of obscurity.

How does Jeremy Lin sleep in that couch? It is too short for his height! Perhaps, it is better to sleep on the wooden floor and completely rest for his basketball practice or NBA game.
Anyway, the Trump Towers in White Plains is plain lucky to have him, just as he is lucky too.

I'm 6'2" and have a very similar style of couch (88 inches long). The back cushions are all loose and can be removed for sleeping, thus making it wide enough. His head or feet probably extended a couple of inches onto the padded arms. My seat cushions are quite comfortable for naps. In my experience, he probably was more comfortable than he might have been on a fold-out couch with a thin mattress.

Why wouldn't Knicks players stay in a place in NYC? I live very close to this building, and it is lovely, but it takes 45 min+ to get from White Plains to NYC via train, and probably longer by car as there is almost always traffic on the way to NYC.

Money doesn't change people, it reveals them.

Jeremy Lin will probably not be one of the MANY pro athletes that have financial difficulties after their career is over. The same can not be said about some other geniuses who played in the NBA.
