8 Adorable Little Kid FAILS (VIDEO)

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 02/16/2012 12:07 pm   Updated: 02/17/2012 12:16 pm

Being a kid is just as tough today as it was 30 years ago. The difference, however, is that now when a kid struggles to learn how to do something, their parents record a video of it on their smartphones and upload it to YouTube, where it will live forever and ever.

But nevertheless, it's adorable watching a small child figuring out how to do something that we often forget takes some getting used to. So, we collected seven of our favorite clips of children trying their hardest to figure out how to do stuff. Don't worry kids, you have the rest of your lives to get this stuff down pat. I teach pre-k and it is so funny at the start of the year watching kids trying to throw a foam frisbee. They just can't co-ordinate when to let go. The yell "catch this" and are looking right at me and it goes behind them. By the end of the year they are pretty good. So fun.

Haha I LOVED the lego one! "I'm gonna move this chair into a more suitable perimeter that's not stupid!" I was laughing the entire time!

i cant understand how people are bashing the "Lego dad"... how can anyone take the video to be serious? i dont know the guy who did the video but i can tell he is joking.. the video is more for the "audience" than for the little boy.. and this dad has proven a point (looking at half these comments) that people are to serious.. this boy will grow up with a great sense of humor.. i think its time to take the sticks out of your behinds...

Hula Hoop Kid is no fail. That was the most entertained I have ever been watching someone working a Hula Hoop. Let Jesse have another turn.

That was cute. Lots of hula, but not much hoop.

Ok lego dad. They were bought for him right??? I think you have more fun than he does. Really funny. I used to sit on the floor with my son and build with lego. Then I started to get him the sets, fire station, police station etc etc. His room was one big lego display place. I stopped playing lego when he could build things better than me. At that time I was only allowed to watch, not touch. LOL Loved the little girl blowing out the candle. So cute. The lemon was mean.

As far as the Lego dad goes, I understand! I was frustrated teaching a 2 year old how to change a car battery and then gave up! And then I immediately spent his college tuition on Legos! (Legos are always a part of the problem!)

Hoola hoop kid was awesome and I never realized how much fun you could have with a toddler and a lemon! (insert evil laugh here!)

My question is how old is the Lego kid? If he's not toilet trained, (or 3), than don't expect him to understand all that right away. Let him first figure out how to connect the Legos and use his imagination. Then suggest the two of you build a castle. Have you ever read him a book about a castle so he knows what to build? It's not just you. These toy manufacturers sell sets so you can only build one thing. You gotta buy more to build more stuff. What did you make stuff with?

When I first watched this, I'll admit I could not hear it. Now that I can, I'll stick with what I said. Here's a few things the Dad said. The one's with a * are when the kid was not in the room.* "I'm going to move this chair in a more suitable spot, so it's not stupid." "Are these Lego pieces?" (Then he trows them.) "I was working here while you were taking a poop break and now you are destroying MY hard work." *"Don't know what's he's doing. Simple, simple architect!" In the end he leaves the room saying, "I can't work with this." If the kid can't meet up to his Dad's standards at that age, how's is the kid going to feel when he's older when he's never 'good enough'?

Lego dad is far too serious to have children. I hope he was baby sitting....for the first time ever in his life...and is never allowed to it again.
03:24 PM on 02/20/2012
Lego dad was pretending to talk to an adult. He didn't seruously expect the child to understand.
02:20 PM on 02/17/2012
I'm not into spamming or anything but since I saw this video I'm guessing a lot of parents are here, so here's my deal lol.. I designed this cool chair for lil girls but i cant make it, if enough people click "I want" on this link then the company will manufacture it. Please help out a starving designer lol. thanks http://www.thecreator.me/en/design-it/jennysita-kids-vanity-chair/open_edit

I stand by Lego dad. What this country needs is more tough love. Good parents refuse to allow their kids to fail. (And Lego baby had some seriously weird ideas about proper Lego castle construction. A FIRE TRUCK in a castle? What was he thinking?) Here's to tough parents who care enough to teach their kids how to do things the RIGHT WAY the FIRST TIME.

I know! But the dad wanted a slide in the castle's military parade grounds...what was THAT about!!!???

The military needs to have some fun every once in a while.

What the heck, he's a kid! Kids sometimes have imaginative crazy ideas because they don't understand how reality is, we should foster their ideas instead of pinning their imaginations to the ground. If my parents went around crushing every thought i had to their own logic I believe my childhood would've been very boring, they'll learn how harsh and boring the real world is but for now let him enjoy his legos any way he wants to.

You don't even need to know him personally to know that it's a joke -- the clip is clearly edited from several angles to make it funny. Why else would the camera be on both sides of the door when he kicks his kid out?
