Renee Graziano, 'Mob Wives' Star, Talks The Ultimate Betrayal

'Mob Wife' Talks Ultimate Betrayal

"The Real Housewives" look like pussycats compared to the "Mob Wives," but don't think it's all about cat fights and settling scores: the crime family bunch insists their reality show exits to help people.

"I remember the day I gave up drinking because that was the day that my father was arrested," Renee Graziano, star of VH1's "Mob Wives," told me. "Anthony Graziano is his name and he just came home [from prison]. My ex-husband got him arrested [again] -- trust me."

But the plot only thickens. Renee's ex-husband, Hector "Junior" Pagan, who Renee says was responsible for putting her dad in jail again, was an FBI informant who was secretly taping his conversations with Renee's father.

"The truth of the matter is, it is the ultimate betrayal," Renee told me on my talk show, "Naughty But Nice with Rob." "I don't think it could have gone any worse than that. It is very hard and heart-wrenching to watch my son go through this. For me, I am strong."

"What makes you so strong?" she continued. "I think it's the truth and I know that sounds silly to people, but I think God really put me on this earth to learn and teach so I think he is letting me go through everything I have asked for. I believe I am here to help someone else and I think that's the greatest gift."

It sounds like the third season will be full of "gifts" like this revelation.

"Naughty But Nice with Rob" airs every Thursday at 8:00 p.m. on HDNet.
