San Francisco Celebrity Chefs David Kinch, Traci Des Jardins And Others To Release Cookbooks (PHOTOS)

The City's Hottest Chefs Release A Feast Of Cookbooks

As The Huffington Post and GQ reported, the San Francisco dining scene is having its moment.

"The one place that's serving up innovation after innovation is ever-p.c. San Francisco and once-grubby but increasingly vibrant Oakland," wrote Alan Richman in his annual GQ food feature, "I ♥ San Francisco." "That fact would have surprised me a few years back, but it doesn't anymore, not after I figured out what was happening out there."

Restaurants like Manresa, Coi, Benu (named the best restaurant in America by New York chef David Chang) and others have gained national and, more importantly, international attention.

"San Francisco is finally ready," said Atelier Crenn Chef Dominique Crenn about the local dining scene. And as Grubstreet reported, San Francisco chefs are capitalizing with cookbooks.

Our local heros -- from Skenes to Des Jardins -- are sharing recipes from their booked-solid restaurants, and throughout 2012 and 2013, home cooks can get a slice of the pie.
