The delicacy has NOT been outlawed in CA. Importing fins into the state is outlawed, but fins in cold storage ar the time the law was passed is legal to sell, and therefore legal to serve in a restaurant. Plenty of issues exist to legitimately rip this President, this isn't one of them.

if you were a principled man, like a president should be, he would avoid an establishment that violates his principles.

Who says that this establishment violated his principles?  The Shark Conservation Act does not outlaw shark fins to be landed in any US port and be traded between states.

And when you eat out, or pull into a drive through, do you call first and grill the owner about every one of your principles? Make sure there are no illegals working there? Make sure they pay their employees fairly and on time? Make sure the salmon is farmed sustainably? Did they source their veggies locally, or did they slip in some exotic fruit that had to be trucked, wasting precious oil? Do they clean their bathrooms using green products, or harmful chemicals? What is their stance on hiring homosexuals? Do they have unisex bathrooms for transgendered people?

I'm sure you are an intelligent person, but your comment wasn't well thought through.

I've eaten at a restaurant in Chicago that served Al Capone as a V.I.P.

After reading this article, I won't eat there anymore.
