WASHINGTON -- Hurray for three-day weekends! You'll have plenty of time to squeeze in some fun over the next few days, which might include some concerts, some fun with the kids or even a vodka tasting.

Here are some things on the docket: DC Coast is hosting a vodka pairing dinner with four courses on Friday, T.I. comes to town on Saturday, Peter Frampton on Sunday and Pearl Dive Oyster Palace is throwing a good ole' fashioned crawfish boil on Monday. What's not to like?

Tonight, groups including the Arya Dance Company (seen here performing at the Macy's Day Parade) perform at the eighth annual Asian Spring Celebration in Frederick, Md. This year's festival will feature a reception themed "A World of Splendor" at 5 p.m. followed by the Asian Spring Concert at 7 p.m. The events, which take place at the Weinberg Center for the Arts, cost $100 for the reception and $15 (adults) for the concert. 20 West Patrick St., Frederick, Md.

How anyone can stomach to eat those darn “crey, craw, or crawdad -- fish?†is beyond me. Seriously, if it wasn’t for their mostly orange color, I would swear those nasty, ugly looking things are very closely related to what everyone here in S/E Florida know are Palmetto [large cockroach] bug(s).
