Arizona basketball fans were probably thrilled to see this over the weekend. Gabe York, a high school recruit from Orange Lutheran in Los Angeles, made fans and his teammates jump out of their seats with a jaw-dropping alley-oop dunk against Dana Hills in the 1A playoffs.
The 6'2 shooting guard nearly pulled a LeBron and leaped over a defender, caught the ball with one hand and threw down a monstrous dunk.
Coach Chris Nordstrom told the Los Angeles Times that York's highlight "maybe the best I have ever seen in a high school game."
York, who finished with 26 points, is a four-star recruit (by Rivals.com) and committed to Arizona.
