Kujtim Nicaj

A Westchester superintendent was given a week to vacate his apartment Monday after accusations that he sodomized a tenant's dog, NBC New York reports.

A tenant at the Rye Colony apartment complex in Rye, New York was reportedly suspicious that someone was breaking into their apartment on a repeated basis. He or she set up a nanny-cam, which allegedly caught 41-year-old Kujtim Nicaj, also known as Tim, molesting their labrador retriever.

Nicaj, who is married with two children, was arrested on February 9th on charges of burglary and sexual misconduct.

"I've been in touch with his family all weekend," Nicaj's lawyer, Steven Davidson, told lohud.com. "Aside from being humiliated, he's worried about providing for his family. It's an amazingly difficult time for them right now. They would like nothing more than for this whole mess to go away."

Nicaj is free on $100,000 bail and is expected in court on March 6.

Hey, don't sodomize innocent animals and "no problem!" it goes away if you don't F@ck a dog! I wonder if he sodomizes his children? Hmmmm. Probably.

If this was a woman the GOP would care less. In fact, they would blame her.

I can't belive some of the comments I'm reading here. First I can't believe people are actually trying to condone his behavior by saying "It's just an animal" and making sick jokes. In some third world, uncivilized countries, Bestiality might be accepted & ignored; but here the the U.S. it's a crime. Consensual? Are you kidding me? This type of behavior is just wrong ANYWHERE in the world. Many criminals who commit violent crimes against humans usually start out by abusing, torturing and killing animals. This low-life (he doesn't qualify as a human being) needs to be put in jail and kept there before he starts committing other violent sexual acts against others-including children. His family wishes this would go away?? He should have thought about that before he broke into someone's home and raped their dog.

From reading many of these comments, I can see that the United States Constitutional guarantee of presumption of innocence prior to being convicted of a crime is utterly lost—in fact it is reviled.

He's humiliated and worried about his family? Well boo hoo. As for his family wishing the whole mess would go away? The mess that needs to go away is HIM....I wouldn't allow him within a hundred miles of me or my children.

I'm sure they WOULD like this "whole mess to go away" - but guess what, it never had to start in the first place - this guy is a PERVERT. His unacceptable behavior took him down, right along with all he purports to hold dear. Apparently they were not nearly as dear as gratifying his perversity and violating a helpless animal. There is a reason the various species do not interact sexually and when a pervert crosses the line driven by his weird desires - there must also be acceptance of the shame and the consequences that derive from it. No one forced him to violate the sanctity of another's home and then, even worse and definitely perverse, violate the sanctity of their pet. Disgusting.

Are you shocked and outraged by this? Just wait a few years and this sort of thing will be mainstream. We already have special protection for a person's sexual orientation, so what's the big deal this guy likes dogs. According to PETA animals are not the property of humans and who is to say this wasn't consensual. I'm sure he can be charged with unlawful entry, (no pun intended) but it's my understanding government has no business in the bedroom. This looks like a job for ACLU. I think law enforcement is barking up the wrong tree with sexual misconduct.

It wasn't his dog - he broke in someone's home and molested THEIR dog. Sexual misconduct isn't harsh enough - IMHO
Chillin Out
I'm used to taking the blame - I'm married

Maybe he and the dog were having an affair, and the dog let him in. Was it a male or a female dog? Were they having an alternative relationship? Maybe they can co-habitate and the dog can be added onto his insurance.
08:29 AM on 02/26/2012
Sexual misconduct isn't harsh enough? Are you a beastiphobe? Are you wnating to deny this guy his right to puppy love? I know I read an article somewhere that proves he was born this way.

You are kidding me right? Animals can't consent--that's the difference. Two consenting adults have the right to do what they want. But when you are talking about animals, children under 18, etc...it is not legally possible to consent.

If you think that homosexuality is akin to raping an animal or a person, then I feel really sorry that your mind is so narrow.
09:50 AM on 02/26/2012
I don't think you should impose your morality on those who truely love animals. There is no proof animals can't consent to sexual contact with humans. You're selling them short just because they can't speek. As for homosexuality, when I was young it seemed repulsive to me. I beleived it was unnatural for humans of the same sex to attempt procreation. When I voiced my opinion people called me a homophobe and said I was a bigot and intolerant. Some day you'll come around.
07:23 AM on 02/26/2012
Good luck maintaining your innocence when they've got you on tape! Yeah, good luck with that, sicko!
07:12 AM on 02/26/2012
I read this correct right??? The guy was having sex with a dog? Ok....nah.....I didn't read that right. Couldn't have. Everyone have a nice day.
