Taylor Swift's Vivid 'Tonight Show' Dress: Yay Or Nay? (PHOTOS, POLL)

Should we call it the "Vogue effect"?

Taylor Swift stopped by the "Tonight Show" on Monday to charm Jay Leno and actor Michael Clarke Duncan and talk about her upcoming movie, "The Lorax."

But it was Taylor's vivid blue-and-red Tracy Reese patterned dress that we noticed first -- wow! Check out those colors!

T.Swift usually sticks with glittering gold dresses from the likes of Reem Acra or simple styles like the white dress she wore to the movie's premiere on Sunday night.

But since she served as cover girl for Vogue's February issue, Taylor seems to have upped the fashion ante, wearing a stunning red carpet gown at the Grammys and later venturing into "dustbowl chic."

I always thought she is obviously attractive, but not "all that" until she grew those bangs, then she went to the top of my "wish list". It was like day and night to me. WOW !!! What a hottie.

Rules were made to be broken. Prints on televison is usually a no-no but she looks great. With her sparkly personality, it would be hard to look bad in anything.

That seems to make sense.

It leaves girls who look like Taylor Swift for white men, whose only wish is that some women (like those you might like, hrafnkel) would have a little less butt back there.

it's noic to have a preformer that gets by on tallent instead on their bodies. No boobs hanging out, colthes aren't too tight and hem isn't up to her butt. It you have tallent you shouldn't have to sell your body to be a hit.

aw I love it. I feel like its a classy, youthful risk. But I have a girly style. I think if she was in her thirties, or not paired it w/ those accessories/hair it would have been a disaster.

I am not a big fan of Taylor Swift's music but I did like the dress. Although, I did not like the dark blue shirt she wore with it.
