Jan Brewer vs. Obama: Image Of Encounter Used On T-Shirts At Arizona GOP Luncheon

Brewer's Encounter With Obama Riling Up Arizona GOP Voterst

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer made headlines when she confronted Obama during his last visit to the Grand Canyon State.

Now, the image of their encounter is making t-shirts.

CNN's Peter Hamby tweeted a photo of a t-shirt bearing the image of Brewer wagging her finger at Obama on the tarmac at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. Beneath the image is the phrase "Just one more year!"

According to Hamby, the shirts were sold at the Maricopa County GOP luncheon, where Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum was campaigning ahead of the Arizona GOP primary.

Brewer alleged the heated meeting was the result of Obama's disapproval of passages from her book, Scorpions for Breakfast.

"He turned that conversation immediately to my book Scorpions for Breakfast and was immediately somewhat distraught, disappointed about the way that he was portrayed in that book," she said.

President Obama responded by saying the encounter was "not a big deal" and "a classic example of things getting blown out of proportion."
