Singer and ex-"X Factor" judge Paula Abdul pretty much straight-up now told us that her Sherman Oaks house was coming on the market. She did what a lot of homeowners do just before they list their properties for sale: She held a garage sale. And while we can't report on how much she took in at the estate sale -- a portion of which went to several charities -- we can tell you that she just listed her 4,679-square-foot Mediterranean at $1.9 million.
Mr. Big Meanie Simon Cowell booted Abdul from her judge's chair on the American version of "The X Factor" even though the two worked together on "American Idol" for eight seasons. While a replacement hasn't yet been named, Paris Hilton's name has been bandied as a contender. Trying to replace Ms. Nice with Ms. Naughty perhaps?
The gated two-story house that Abdul is selling has five bedrooms and sits on about a quarter-acre. It has a grand double-staircase, a great room with hardwood floors and an oversize fireplace, recessed lighting, and French doors that lead to a private patio and pool area. The home has a custom granite kitchen and large media room.
