Rose McGowan Dazzles In Low-Cut Dress At Pre-Oscars Party (PHOTOS)

First Posted: 02/22/2012 11:32 am Updated: 02/22/2012 11:53 am

We have no words. Rose McGowan turned out to celebrate silent-movie era actor Charlie Chaplin, who was gifted with an honorary Academy Award on Tuesday evening, and she no doubt left more than a few onlookers speechless.

McGowan hit the Chateau Marmont red carpet wearing a figure-hugging metallic green cocktail dress with a plunging neckline. The event is among the many pre-Oscar fetes at which celebrities will practice their step-and-repeat poses and try out pre-award show talking points with their fellow on-screen sirens.

Check out McGowan's revealing red carpet look below. How does she stack up in our battle of the cleavage? Vote!

I like cleavage, I'm a fan, but I really don't like the deep v neckline that goes all the way down near the navel. It's not a modesty thing, I just don't think it looks good. For it to work, I think it has to be on small-busted women--smaller than Eva Longoria--like Olivia Wilde, Leighton Meester, Kate Hudson (pre-baby and boob job), Kristen Bell, etc.

Regarding Charlie Chaplin, hasn't he already received an Honorary Oscar, around forty years or so ago? And now that he's dead and all, does he really need another? Or is this all about pimping The Artist and setting it up to sweep the Oscars?

I guess this comment could only come from a straight woman raised by a fashionista, but I'd like to have seen the rest of the dress!

Rose used to be a beautiful young woman, until celebrity caught up with her, now she's just moments away from looking like Joan Rivers.

are you jealous because she is still beautiful.

Werner Heisenberg may have been right.

The woman just keeps getting lovelier. How do they do that?

I just don't understand how everyone is fawning over fake titties that any fool could buy. The only ones that should be "judged" are the natural breasts of Jennifer Love Hewitt, Anna Kournikova and Jessica Simpson.

I love a good, titilating slideshow.

I don't think I would have known this was Rose McGowan. She looks so different from the way she looked in Planet Terror. Did she have work done on her face?
10:42 AM on 02/23/2012
I agree, I think she did have a few things done

The story is that she was in a car accident that shoved sunglasses into her face, and the plastic surgery to fix it is what makes her so weird looking now.

oh my god, she is so beautiful. Thank God she wasn't killed. Think how you would look after sunglasses pushed into your face.

reese looked cute, some of the others were tasteful but for the most part these women ought to dress with a lot MORE class and a lot less TRASH.

She is not even close to spilling. The red-head from Mad Men (#2) has such an amazing figure. Everything is real, and I appreciate that!

I also appreciate the ladies that have petite busts, and haven't gone all crazy and gotten fake breasts just to appeal to the public. I understand if they've had a bunch of kids and want to 'refresh', but some of these bodies are a little nutty.

I wish we could laud a person's figure, especially if it's natural, no matter if it's curvy or petite. I always tell my female friends to appreciate what they have and stop obsessing about what they don't. I would love to be taller, but I'm not. Having 32F's is annoying and painful at times, but I'm not going under the knife. I'd love to be a lovely raven-haired Indian like my grandma, but I got my Dad's german wheat-colored hair. It's ok...I am cool with being me, and I don't have any desire to spend thousands of dollars to be someone else, even if I admire the many differences out there.

Ladies, just be your healthiest self, and be ok with what you've got!

perfect response, thank you. What is wrong with people, even if they do think she is not attractive, she went through a major accident and could have been killed. I think she is an excellent actress.

Spill out?? what are you saying here??? I think her gown is beautiful, I see nothing like I've seen with other stars. Get real.

So many comments trying to prove they are holier or purer than thou. Why so much phoney disgust at the display of a little flesh? Jealousy is what it is. Jealous they don't have it to flaunt if the comment writer is female and jealous their girlfriend doesn't have more to flaunt if the comment writer is male.
