70 mill of his own money gave him the election by 3% in 2010, estimates say it will cost 140 mil to get him the next election, his net worth is said to be about that. I do not know which would be better, to just see him go or to attempt another re-election campaign and go broke.
Either way, he's toast.

I don't know how voters in Florida actually voted for Voldemort..didn't they read Harry Potter..well..I guess when he cuts 1 billion from schools..kids and future voters wont be able to read..so its better to ask if voters didn't see the Harry Potter movies.

Thank goodness! 'LURCH' scot is an embarrassment to Florida already.

So instead of staying in the bi-partisan group to "save" tax payer dollars, he decided to go with the partisan Republican group, bought and paid for by big business so he can be courted into spending tax payer dollars the way the patrons see fit? Sounds about right for P Rick Scott.

Turtleman is a dreadful state governor. I can't imagine how much worse it will become down here with the state legislature in complete lockstep.

Scoot is completely alienating himself from the rest of America and at least half of Florida. When he won the Governorship it was very close. He withdraws membership from the NGA, which is a bipartisan organization. Instead he becomes a member of the Republican Governor's Association which relies of Corporate donors and donations from wealthy conservatives. Can he make it any more clear he only cares about 1%'er Republicans.

Actually, just 3% more of the people of Florida that turned out for the election elected the guy. I voted for Alex Sink, so please don't include me.

Florida, we are about to complete 16 years of Republican rule over the State and we have nothing to show for it. When are we going to start electing pragmatic leaders and forget about ideology? We have given away so much of the people's wealth to business interests and yet the State suffers from poor infrastructure, education, healthcare and lags behind most states in development.

The trouble is most republican voters think that's a good thing.......

I know what you mean, but the legislature gave the Governor a sharp rebuke when they voted against privatizing the state prison system. This Governor will outsource our entire state if the legislature lets him.
