What Time Are The Oscars?

The 84th annual Academy Awards begin at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT tonight on ABC, airing live from the Hollywood & Highland Center in Los Angeles. The show will be hosted by old-timer Billy Crystal (whose 1992 hosting gig was the BEST), with notable appearances expected by The Muppets, Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise and Cirque du Soleil (and Uggie expected to be notably absent). ABC will begin their coverage at 7 p.m. ET on the red carpet, but the fun begins a little earlier in the following ways:

E!'s "Countdown to the Red Carpet: The 2012 Academy Awards" begins at 1:30 p.m. ET, hosted by Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne, George Kotsiopoulos and Ross Mathews. The network's "Live From the Red Carpet: The 2012 Academy Awards" begins at 5:30 p.m. ET. The party continues after the Oscars with the "E! After Party: The 2012 Academy Awards," starting at 11:30 p.m. ET, assuming the show ends on time.

TV Guide channel will begin their red carpet coverage at 6 p.m. ET., hosted by Chris Harrison.

E! will also be streaming their red carpet coverage online starting at 5:15 p.m. ET.

The Associated Press will be doing the same from the red carpet, beginning at 5 pm. ET.

The show itself will not be livestreamed, but there will be coverage aplenty online -- check in with HuffPost Entertainment, who will be liveblogging the show and follow us @HuffPostCulture for live tweets and discussion. See you tonight!
