Crystal Renn 'W Korea' Cover Is More Our Speed (PHOTOS)

Don't let the Sports Illustrated swimsuit shoot fool you: Crystal Renn is still as high fashion as they come.

The model, famous for being formerly plus-size but beloved for simply being awesome, poses for the March 2012 cover of W Korea, ditching her bronzed bikini look for a more offbeat style: a neon bob, magenta lips and aqua eyes.

Renn's also got on one of the ubiquitous pastel frocks from Louis Vuitton's Spring 2012 collection, which have been popping up on seemingly every mag cover this season (including W Korea's cover from just last month -- those editors must love them some Louis).

Not that we've got a problem with that. Excited as we were for Crystal's Sports Illustrated debut, we much prefer our favorite models in boundary-pushing, creative, experimental photos like this one, shot by Hong Jang Hyun. Crystal's candy-coated look is one of seven covers, shot in honor of W Korea's seventh anniversary.
