Kate Upton Carl's Jr. Commercial: Model Gets Steamy With The Southwest Patty Melt (VIDEO)

Apparently, the new Southwest Patty Melt from Carl's Jr. and Hardee's is pretty hot, at least according to the ad below. Recent Sport's Illustrated swimsuit model Kate Upton is seen sweating down her cleavage after chowing down on the burger. The burger was so hot, apparently, that she had to remove her pink sweater as well.

Kate Upton now joins the ranks of Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian and Padma Lakshmi as a burger eater/sexual object.

We're all for ladies chowing down on burgers, but we've yet to see such an intense physical reaction when burgers are eaten in real life (and we've eaten a lot of 'em).

Has anyone noticed that the commercial has been edited from it's original version where she puts the bag between her legs? Now the shot is cropped more tightly. I wonder if feminists or Christians complained, or both. It's a pretty gross commercial.

C'mon people...she's a model! She's sexy! This is what she's paid to do! No one put a gun to her head! She's being touted as the next Marilyn! Is this any more suggestive than what Marilyn did back in the 50's when she was personified as a sex symbol and controversial! Will this sell more southwest patty melts at Carl's Jr & Hardees? You better believe it! Here's a suggestion: if you don't like the video, don't watch it! Any you should be controlling what your kids watch anyway! And if you don't like the concept, don't eat at Carl's Jr or Hardees! I think you can get a burger at a FEW other places!!

i have a couple answers:
i am not even a little bit sexist, i just cannot word this answer any other way. ...
when i took advertising at uni, our proffesor told us that advertisers accounted for 3 typical sets of people:
women (single mothers, and solo women)
men (single fathers, and solo men) and
the other category (the largest, and the #1 category in the food and hospitality industry) was families (for which they attributed men as making more of the decisions than the women do regarding how money is spent).
that was a used by my professor to explain this to us (someone asked almost the same question in class).
but don't argue with me too much, because that was an elective and i made a 'c' because a lot of what *she* (the professor) said never made any sense to me.

the other answer is: ... they do have men ones
-- back about 6 or 7 years ago they had a series of these commercials similar to this with chippendales dancers and not swimsuit models.

Oh come on ladies, you have to admit this young lady is HOT! But in a classy, sexy kind of way! Unlike Kim K and Paris H, they just come on as sleazy. But that's just my opinion I do understand. Miss Upton is VERY easy on the eyes. And this comes from a 52 year old woman and I am NOT a lesbian, so don't even go there! I just have no problem with admitting to another woman's sexiness!

There was really no doubt in my mind, even though I said don't bother to go there, there would bound to be a few trolls that would anyway! Just means I'm not a closed minded prude like you! And the answer to your question is yeah I kicked him out years ago. But I certainly hope my significant other looks at other women! I would worry if he didn't, just means he's human and a real man. Just like I look at other men! Really quite funny if you think your husband doesn't look at other women. And if he doesn't...well then he must be a she.
