Congratulations are in order for Uma Thurman. The actress is pregnant, Life & Style reports.
The new addition will be the first child for Thurman and her boyfriend, Arpad Busson, though she has two children, Maya, 13, and Levon, 10, with her ex-husband Ethan Hawke.
"She's excited," the insider told Life & Style. "She's happy and just a few months along right now. She's due in late, late summer."
Though the baby news just came out this week, friends have reportedly speculated that she was expecting after she appeared all covered up while attending New York Fashion Week events earlier this month.

The only reason for her they know each other is his money. Not like she needs some. And if you are thinking or want a kid, who would you have it with? Of course, a billionaire is a good choice. And he, he is a collector of , I don't know, women with names, children, who knows what else. It's different out there. Money can buy you madness

I can't imagine why any woman at 42 would want to have a baby, especially when the woman already has older ones. Pregnancy is hard on the body at any age but in the 40's; it's got to be hell. I think many women think that a baby will cement a relationship and want to be assured that a connection will exist even if the man leaves her. I guess having a baby in Hollywood is not the same as it is for average folk since once the baby comes into the world, it's needs are cared for by everyone but the parents. Uma will have lots of time to recover from the perils of pregnancy and childbirth.

i know a lot of women who get pregnant in their 40's. some are accidents (unprotected sex while menstruating) and others "accidents" (these happen when the women is feeling older and wants a baby to make her young again). The good news is that because this is not her first pregnancy the process will go much smoother and the baby has a much higher chance of being healthy without any birth defects. I'm just glad this baby is being born into a family that can afford it, something you shouldn't resent

"Should" is a word for people that feel the need to deny their feelings. I think that as mother that works her a$$ off as a nurse in a 2 income family that still comes up short when it comes to living expenses, future planning etc, it is very difficult to observe celebrities breeze through life having children when often the children are brought into this world for other purposes than the maternal/paternal instincts of wanting to nurture, guide and love another human being. They often spend little time with their children while they are out galavanting, doing things for themselves and have no clue about what it means to sacrifice for the child which is truly a gift from God. I would give my eye teeth just to take a yearly vacation with my children. Quality time is the first thing to go because our society does not value those that make a living through altruistic means. Nurses, teachers etc are not glamorous enough, though many of us are good looking too. I say, show me the money and I will drop the resentment.

I dunno. I'm 41 and pregnant, and my baby is due a couple weeks after I turn 42. Yeah, this pregnancy is harder than the last one (6 years ago) because everything is all stretched already (more ligament pain).
But it's by no means "hell". I wish I were sleeping more. But that's about it. Then again, I'm fit and healthy. Fitter than I was at 30 anyway.

I don't care one way or another about her lifestyle or kids. But as far as the 15 minutes of fame goes, she's much more famous than her ex. She's been in over 50 movies and the Kill Bill franchise is cult like.
