When it comes to the 40-yard dash at the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine, there will be a wide performance range. At one end, there's Robert Griffin III. And then, way down at the other end of the spectrum, there's Vick Ballard.
The Mississippi State running back had a little bit of trouble on his first 40-yard dash attempt at the Combine on Sunday. After his first few strides, Ballard lost his footing, stumbled down and fell head-first into a video camera tripod. He eventually ran a 4.65 which ranked 16th out of the 25 running backs participating in the Combine.
Fortunately for Ballard, he wasn't the only one to faceplant at the Combine.
