Colbert Mocks Romney's Ford Field Speech, Santorum's 'Snob' Comment (VIDEO)

WATCH: Colbert Mocks Higher Education 'Snobs'

On Monday night's show, Colbert looked forward to today's Michigan primary by analyzing both Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum's campaigns there.

From Romney's empty-seated stadium speech at Ford Field to Santorum's charge that President Obama is a "snob" for wanting every American to go to college, it's clear that the candidates are attempting to pull out all the stops.

Colbert poked fun at Romney's small turnout at his stadium speech, but praised the candidate for really connecting with "those empty seats by also being plastic and uncomfortable."

But it was Santorum's "snob" charge that gave Colbert the most fodder, as he did the candidate one better by attacking higher education snobbery in all its forms, including vocational-school elitism.
