Are you ready for some ballroom action? After weeks of speculation, rumors and dream casting, the day has finally come. The "Dancing With the Stars" Season 14 cast has finally been revealed.
Some rumored contestants for Season 14 included "Little House on the Prairie" star Melissa Gilbert, larger-than-life "The View" co-host, Sherri Shepherd and Jack Wagner, Heather Locklear's ex. All three were confirmed by TMZ last week.

Why is it that so many people that comment on here are so bitter about everything. Some even say they have never watched the show and yet they comment about how horrible it is. ??? I love Dancing with the Stars and think it is a fun show with beautiful costumes. I choose to enjoy life rather than poo-poo everything that comes along. Maybe not all of the contestants are "stars" but they are celebrities of some sort. Be happy you guys.

Katherine Jenkins is NOT an opera singer, much less opera star. She has never sung in opera and she never will. Singing arias (transposed) with a microphone doesn't make one an opera singer; selling a lot of albums with arias doesn't make one an opera singer. This is not part of the definition. There is a very clear definition of what "opera" is in any dictionary. An opera singer is someone who actually sings in operas. An opera star is someone who sings leading roles in operas in top opera theaters. Netrebko is an opera star. Jenkins is a classical crossover singer. Ignorant journalists!

Every year DWTS uses even more obscure "celebrities" and has beens. I thought they could not do any worse than Chaz Bono and Nancy Grace, but the truth is that this bunch is excrutiatingly boring. I don't plan to watch even one epsisode, and I think I have a lot of company.
