Lady Gaga Launches Born This Way Foundation At Harvard (LIVESTREAM)

LIVESTREAM: Lady Gaga Launches Born This Way Foundation

Here at HuffPost Teen, our mission is to highlight the work of amazing teens who are pursuing their passions and changing the world. It's a mission that we share with Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation, a wonderful new organization launching today that is dedicated to youth empowerment and creating a "kinder and braver world." You can watch a livestream of the launch event at Harvard -- which will be attended by Lady Gaga, Oprah, and countless youth leaders from around the country -- by clicking on the video above.

In partnership and solidarity with the Born This Way Foundation, we are declaring today our own "Youth Empowerment" day on The Huffington Post. Not only is HuffPost Teen featuring an exclusive livestream of the event, but we're also staging a take-over of the section today by our amazing teen bloggers. Their blog posts will be featured both on HuffPost Teen and across other sections of The Huffington Post (look for special blue "Youth Empowerment" arrows to find them). We're also excited to announce that one of our very own teen bloggers, 18-year-old Renee DuShane, will be sitting front-row at the event as our special correspondent.

Can't get enough Gaga? Check out the blog post from HuffPost Teen Editor Elizabeth Perle about what we're doing with Born This Way Foundation, and last but certainly not least, be sure to read an exclusive blog post from Lady Gaga's mom, Cynthia Germanotta, discussing the Born This Way initiative and the work that she and her daughter are taking on to promote youth empowerment.

The Born This Way Foundation is all about creating a kinder and braver world -- starting with young people! We also think that teens have the power to create the change the want to see in the world, and we are excited to be sharing the voices of some incredibly talented teenagers on our site today.

So check out the livestream and let us know what you think! We'd love to hear your responses -- share your thoughts in the comments below or tweet @HuffPostTeen!
