Comedian Dane Cook Is Headed To TV With NBC Pilot

Dane Cook is heading to series television.

The stand-up comic-turned-feature actor has been tapped to star in NBC's comedy pilot "Next Caller Please," a single-camera series that revolves around Cam Doherty, a brash alpha male DJ and his feminist co-host set in the office of a satellite radio station.

Dane Cook heading to t.v ? Thanks for the warning. Why does NBC want to torture us this way ? He's not funny in movies, not funny at his stage show so I guess television is just another place for him to be dull and boring on.Well when this show bombs and it will, I guess next stop is Dane Cook on Broadway.

I watched this guy's comedy special on Comedy channel one night. A stand up routine. I watched for 15 minutes and didn't laugh once. Amazing how such untalented people keep getting deals. Adam Sandler comes to mind.....
