Rick Santorum Super Tuesday Strategy Hinges On Ohio, Oklahoma And Tennessee

02/29/12 09:28 AM ET  AP

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Rick Santorum says he's counting on Washington state, Ohio, Oklahoma and Tennessee to prove he can win across the country and best Mitt Romney for the Republican presidential nomination.

Santorum lost Arizona and Michigan to Romney Tuesday night. But he says his campaign "held up pretty well" after being vastly outspent in Michigan, where Romney was born and his father served as governor. Because the finish was close, the two will essentially split Michigan's GOP delegates.

Next week's 10 Super Tuesday contests will be crunch time for Santorum's bid to dislodge Romney as the apparent Republican front-runner.

On his way from Michigan to Tennessee, Santorum told Steve Gill's Nashville-based radio show Wednesday that "obviously we need to do well" in Ohio, Oklahoma and Tennessee on Super Tuesday. Washington votes Saturday.

question:

Are the 3 keys representative of 3 states

or

Are the 3 keys representative of UBS's newer logo (as in is he receiving foreign support through superPACs)?

My reply to Santorum's request for campaign support was," If you get elected, I think America will go from her knees to flat on her face! We need to start taxing countries like China with import duties. China sends us substandard products produced for a fraction of what our country can manufacture them because workers are literally enslaved and working for almost nothing. What's with borrowing from China to supply foreign aid to China? Let China help her own people and get us off the interest merry go round. Yes, I want all Americans to get medical insurance. Let's start with Congress, Supreme Court, President and all government employees getting exactly what the rest of us get, including at age 65. How about people making in excess of $200,000 a year, including businesses like banks, insurance companies, and oil companies paying their fair share of taxes instead of those of us who are barely subsisting having to pay more taxes than they do? How about regulating necessary commodities like gas and oil? Why should refineries in the US be producing gasoline more cheaply from US drilled oil than from foreign purchased oil and then export it instead of giving US citizens a break? If I had any money to contribute, it would not be to your campaign. Wake up, the well is dry and those of us at the bottom of it are getting very restless and in the mood for a revolution of the twenty first century kind."

He knows what he has to do, but has no idea how to do it. He lacks focus. He lost the Catholic vote in Michigan! I'd say his stand on reproductive rights, and his bad mouthing of JFK had a wee bit to do with that outcome.

The senator is appealing to us educationally challenged voters to be aware of how higher education decreases religious fervor among our youth and to avoid, at all costs, any education that ranks brighter people above the dim witted. Now I can buy that RV I've always wanted and the jet skies as I cash in the kids college fund he doesn't need anyway. I ain't spending all that money for college so my kid won't go to church anymore and become a snob!

"Santorum Knows What He Has To Do"

Rather than talk about wanting to "throw up", Santorum needs to ACTUALLY throw up.
That would be extreme and get peoples attention.

What Rick has to do is to beg his God for fogivness for his attempt to stuff his beliefs down the throats of those who think differently from him !

What would help this screwball is a few months at a nice, quiet re-education re-hab retreat.

If Santorum really loves his country he would show it by quitting the race and taking the rest of the whack jobs with him.

Rick, you might want to pack for home. I don't think you will do well here in Ohio. We have 399 colleges. Way too many snobs.
