Jeremy Lin Mural Appears In NYC

'Linsane' Street Art Appears

"Linsanity" has taken NYC by storm. Not only is the point guard shredding NBA records and scoring 136 points in his first five career starts for the Knicks, but it's obvious that his impact goes beyond the court.

Lin also recently appeared on his 20th consecutive Newsday Sports cover, setting yet another the record. With such hysteria, it was only a matter of time before Lin made his street art debut. ANIMALNewYork recently posted this time lapse video of a Jeremy Lin mural capturing its creation from beginning to end. The mural features Lin in a pose that many New Yorkers would probably agree with, carrying the world on his shoulders.

Being the first Asian-American star in the NBA is a lot of pressure, but in the above video, Lin lifts the globe high above his head, bringing hope to the world. On second thought, he might be about to destroy it in a bid for universal basketball domination...
