Peanut butter lovers rejoice. Today is your day -- it's national peanut butter lovers day on March 1! While we don't get the day off from work (which we probably should), we do at least have a great excuse to pick up our spoons and open our jars of creamy -- or crunchy, if that happens to be you -- peanut butter and enjoy guilt free.

Peanut butter is one of those items that when people love it, they really love it; it borderlines obsession. Some of us even have to refrain from buying the creamy ground nuts at the supermarket, knowing full well that the jar won't last through the night.

And while we at Kitchen Daily agree that eating peanut butter straight up is a most delicious way to enjoy it (after all, the best part of the beloved pb&j is the peanut butter), there are so many great dishes that can be made with this wonder of peanut wonders. From peanut butter and chocolate cakes to peanut butter pop tarts and even peanut butter and jelly pancakes, we have a recipe to please every type of peanut butter addict.

And if you've recently made the switch from regular peanut butter to natural, check out our taste test results to find which brand tasted best.

That is not a Southern Moon Pie. I wouldn't want one but I do remember what they tasted like and, believe me, that ain't it.

This site is torture for me seeing I gave up peanut butter for lent. I just had to share my Anytime awesome treat. Smear peanut butter on a ripe banana, dunk in chocolate pudding and eat. It can also be wrapped in plastic wrap and frozen before eating too. Enjoy!

Sorry -- Peanut Butter Lobby: Maybe peanut butter can take gum out of your hair, but for eating and nutrition: once you've tried Almond Butter you can never go back -- and it's healthier too. I get it fresh ground at a local market and have it for lunch every day with an apple. What a treat.

In answer to "Old Stud's" beginning of statement…. That was the funniest comment I've seen this year! He may be old but his thoughts are Fresh, Friskie and Youthful! And reading comments is one of the best past times you can spend educating yourself! Since being a host to Diebetes, my Peanut Butter recipe is simple.. Pick up a tablespoon, fill it with a heaping helping of Peanut butter and Enjoy! Spreading PB on a hot waffle is also healthy! Girls and Boys can both …. never mind!

Recently, my lab work came back with high levels of the bad cholesterol and not-so-hot levels of the good stuff. Taking matters into my own hands, I decided to try eating oatmeal for breakfast. I cooked the oatmeal, added a little cinnamon, ginger, brown sugar and then put in a good tablespoon of chunky peanut butter. Not only was it good, it lasted all morning, something that oatmeal alone does not usually do for me. Am sure that the calorie count is high, but that and a glass of milk really does give me the energy to go throughout the morning. We'll see what the labs tell in several months!

Peanut Butter on a big spoon then put in a class of milk or coke. Take a bite of PB and sip of milk or coke. Peanut Butter and Banana sandwich. Bread the good soft kind put PB on both slices. Then slice Banana long ways about a quarter inch thick. Then cover the PB on one slice of bread then place the other on top. Now fix your self a large class of coke over ice and when your finish eating and drinking your soda. That big burb at the end tells you your in heaven.

When I was about 11 or 12 a girlfriend taught me to eat Peanut Butter and Dill Pickle Sandwiches and it is still a favorite of not only me but my 3 grown daughters too. Linda, if you are out there anywhere, thanks.

Inspired by those chocolate and peanut covered frozen bananas, I make chocolate cakes with a peanut butter/cream cheese based filling with fat slices of fresh banana. The cake is "frosted" with a semi-sweet chocolate ganache and sprinked with broken bits of honey-roashed peanuts.

Cooking is my passion and my husband is the very lucky beneficiary. He has made sure I have everything I need, from a tricked out kitchen to an amazing pantry of ingredients. All is well. Thanks.

How hard is it to design a slideshow that users don't have to scroll to read the titles then scroll again to see the descriptions? It's annoying.
