'Dancing With The Stars' Season 14: Sherri Shepherd Wants Val Chmerkovskiy To Go Shirtless (VIDEO)

Sherri Shepherd Wants Her 'DWTS' Partner To Go Shirtless

While most "Dancing With the Stars" contestants are worried about memorizing their steps, "View" co-host just wants one thing for her "Dancing With the Stars" Season 14 debut: For her professional partner Val Chmerkovskiy to go shirtless on the dance floor.

After all, Val's older brother Maksim Chmerkovskiy -- who is paired with "Little House on the Prairie" star Melissa Gilbert -- often goes shirtless in the ballroom. So much so, in fact, judge Len Goodman called him out on his shirtless antics in Season 12, calling it "gimmicky."

Having learned from his older brother's mistakes, Val thinks it's best if he keeps his shirt on for Season 14. It looks like Sherri doesn't quite approve of the younger Chmerkovskiy's modest behavior.

Since Maks has yet to win the Mirror Ball, we have to say that maybe Val has the right idea. Keep your shirt on, and let the dancing speak for itself. That is, until the group numbers. Then, feel free to go shirtless, Val. In fact, can we expect a Chmerkovskiy shirtless showdown this season?

After checking out the hilarious interview above, take a look at the first behind-the-scenes rehearsal photos below. "Dancing With the Stars" Season 14 premieres March 19 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
