Steve Bridges, the actor who impersonated President George W. Bush at the 2006 White House Correspondents' Association dinner, has died at age 48, his manager said.
Bridges gained international attention after the 2006 event in which he impersonated Bush while the president himself shared the stage beside the actor. Bridges was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment on Saturday the Los Angeles Times reports. Although the exact cause of death is unknown at this time, an autopsy has been scheduled, and so far it appears that he died of natural causes, his brother Phillip told the paper.
According to Bridges' website, the actor also impersonated other public figures including former President Bill Clinton, former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, and President Barack Obama.
