UNC Student Government Fails At Trash Talking Duke's Student Government On Twitter

Student governments in college are increasingly setting up their own Twitter accounts.

Sometimes the intention is to live-tweet their meetings, others use it to make announcements. The University of North Carolina tried to use it to do some trash talking, but it backfired.

The UNC Tarheels beat Duke University, in men's basketball, on Saturday. The UNC student government thought they'd send a tweet to Duke's government, (they are one of the biggest rivalries in college sports after all) but they apparently forgot to do some minor copy-editing before hitting send.

Cause that's how we discuss our schools of higher learning....I know sports are as close as most Americans can ever get to attending these truly great institutions but almost every school in Division I sports in the NCAA is a great Tier 1 or 2 University with a historically great set of programs..
