Move over, Tina Fey.

Julianne Moore is the latest actress to literally step into Sarah Palin's shoes, as she plays the former VP candidate in the HBO film "Game Change," premiering March 10. Based on the book of the same name, "Game Change" focuses on John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign. In the above clip, Moore discusses her experience making the film and how she mastered Palin's accent in record time. The 51-year-old stunner also reveals what she did to her eyes to look even more like Palin and what she thinks about the movie's portrayal of the McCain campaign.

It's a shame, I think, when formerly great actresses, like Moore and Streep, are compelled by either their own insecurities or by the industry, to move from acting to impersonating. And then it is reinforced that their place is to be impersonators at their age by giving them an Oscar for it, as if to legitimize it. Speaking of which, one of the greatest modern impersonators, Steve Bridges, passed away yesterday. And Jim Carrey, who clearly didn't take on the role of Andy Kaufman in "Man On The Moon" because he wanted to ridicule the late great comic actor/entertainer, was passed over for an Oscar.
