Miranda Kerr Japanese Commercial Shows Off The Model's Singing Chops (VIDEO)

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 03/06/2012 6:51 am Updated: 03/06/2012 9:40 am

We're pretty sure Victoria's Secret superstar Miranda Kerr wishes this commercial would stay overseas, but thanks to the power of the Internet, we've scored Kerr's hilarious new Lipton Limone spot from Japan for your viewing pleasure.

In the new Japanese ads, Miranda, 28, dons a cute yellow waitress uniform and brandishes her Lipton Limone in front of a confused gentleman who seems to have rubbed his piece of cake all over his face and glasses. Huh?

There's also the dude who hands her the drink, who's dressed in a face-obscuring brown robe. We're guessing there's a reason he's dressed that way... can any commenters elaborate?

And then comes the ultra-catchy jingle. Make it stop! We can't tell for certain that the supermodel is actually singing the recorded version of the song, but in the behind-the-scenes vid, she lets a few notes loose -- and girl does have a really nice voice.

Kerr, who reportedly filmed the commercial last month on a trip to Japan, now joins the elite club of celebrities quietly shilling foreign goods, which already includes Megan Fox's South Korean handbags, Jennifer Connelly's 80's Shiseido spots and hilariously, Jennifer Aniston's German ads for Heineken.

Thank you, Internet.

Doesn't Japan have any beautiful Japanese women use for commercials?
02:37 AM on 03/07/2012
They have plenty I assure you, and some of them are very interesting to get to know.

Miranda Kerr has some very cute dimples to complement her gorgeously lithe and sexy figure!

The Japanese consider the hooded guy to "not be there". They are traditional in the Japanese entertainment industry.

The commercials are nothing.

Just wait until you see the TV shows!

She totally said "Oichii" instead of "Oishii" (delicious) but I'm sure Japan doesn't care... she's adorable!

The hooded guy is disturbing. Miramda is a hottie like always. Foriegn commercials always seem very wierd to me. But then again, there are alot og American commercials that really make you say, "wtf was that!?".

Tee hee hee. Not to worry, most of what I write in the Style and Entertaiment sections of HuffPost, I do with my tongue firmly in the cheek. I'm only serious when I'm thumbing my nose at conservatives in the Politics and Media sections :-)
