Verizon Teases 'Something' The Day Before Apple's IPad Event

As if the wait for the latest iPad hasn't been painful enough, the current look of Verizon Wireless' webpage is like rubbing salt in the wound.

On March 6, just one day before the slated March 7 iPad HD announcement, Verizon's homepage sported the cryptic message: "Something is coming. Be among the first to hear the news."

Curious viewers of the page then have the option to submit their email address to "get all the details about the latest Verizon products."

Hinting at something, Verizon?

Early on March 6, iMore made the connection between Verizon's tease of a homepage with the coming release of the iPad HD, which, according to reports, will come with 4G LTE network connectivity.

That's a feature Verizon must be excited about. According to a March 6 report by Reuters, a new and improved iPad with the ability to operate on a 4G LTE network may give mobile network providers Verizon Wireless and AT&T a big boost in revenue.

I really do hope People who really don't need or could find no use for this new piece of technology don't buy it if it is Produced abroad. The only way we can fight back against these Tresonous Corporations causing so much unemmployment in the U.S.A. is to not buy their products. They could make more than enough mmoney if they produced products here but due to a mental illness called acquisition Neurosis ( greed ) produce them over seas. Please help put America back to work!

I have IPad2. Don't like it, except for emergencies. It's definitely not a computer or even easy to use. And it came with no instructions!

It's not meant to entirely replace a computer. And if it's not easy to use, then what is? I figured one out in 60 seconds and so did everyone else. You can get digital instructions which are designed to save paper. Luddite much? I don't work for apple, own stock, or even have an iPad. Just used one before, and the only thing easier might be writing your name in the sand with a stick.

I like apple products but if there is no difference between the new IPAD 3 and IPAD 2 or 1. Why even get it? I will see the same old widgets. Run the same applications I run now. Use it the same way I used it 3 years ago and IPAD 2 is fast enough for most applications. I have a real camera for taking pictures because I dont feel like holding a book up to take a picture. I have no problems reading books. I have a real computer to do real work. I get all my music from itunes like every other IPAD made. If I bought a new IPAD I would do all the same things I did with my IPAD 2 and it will be cheaper than the new one coming out. Can anyone with an old IPAD tell me what new thing will you do with a new IPAD that you cannot do on a old IPAD?
