Mischa Barton 'Styled By June' Segment Shows The Star's Softer Side (VIDEO, PHOTOS)

It's been a while since Mischa Barton stepped into the spotlight, something the actress is acutely aware of. Perhaps that's why she's working with June Ambrose, the celebrity stylist with a new VH1 show called "Styled By June."

Fun fact: like Blake Lively before her, Mischa's never worked with a stylist before. But in the video above, taken from the March 19 premiere of "Styled By June," Mischa and June begin to rehab the fallen star's image via fashion.

It's an image that could use a serious overhaul. With surprising candor, Mischa admits, "Press is definitely not one of my stronger points." Things got out of hand, she says, because she was so young when it all began:

I was literally 17 when "The O.C." blew up. the paparazzi and that craziness, it sucks the soul out of you and it distracts you. That was why the press attention made me reel the way it did, and it made me a bit angry and want to do my own thing.

That, June decides is no longer an option. Check out a softer, appealing Mischa in the video above... and how far she's come, style-wise, in the slideshow below.

Having your own style is obviously a good thing whether that be with hair, clothes or Jewellery but you just have to look at the way some people have been transformed by having a stylist. Any number of people who have shot to fame on the x factor or other reality shows are a perfect example of how someone fairly normal looking can be styled to look like a celebrity.

You should have a conversation with your fact-checker. Mischa worked with Rachel Zoe for years. They had a falling out, then Mischa went on her own -- and that's when she received huge criticism for her wardrobe choices. www.TheDishmaster.com

It is obvious you have not been using a stylist if at Least you had a good sense of style.... But since you don't hire professional help and I bet your career will improve.
