Newt Gingrich Website Posts Fundraising Appeal [UPDATE]

Gingrich Posts New Fundraising Appeal On Website

After a Super Tuesday win in Georgia, Newt Gingrich is focused on fundraising.

As the Atlanta Journal-Constitution notes, Gingrich's entire campaign website, Newt.org, has been replaced with a donation page.

"With your help, we secured a decisive victory in Georgia and won Super Tuesday's biggest prize," the site now reads. "Our victory sends a strong signal that Republicans want a bold Reagan conservative who can draw stark contrasts with President Obama and defeat him in November. Please help us keep this momentum going by making a generous donation today to our 'March Momentum Money Bomb.'"

Attempts to access other pages once on the site, including www.newt.org/answers, which featured the candidate responding to attacks, www.newt.org/events, which hosted a calendar, and www.newt.org/coalitions, featuring supportive groups like Healthcare Professionals with Newt, now yield error messages. Mobile versions of the pages are still available.

UPDATE: 12:45 p.m. -- A "skip to website" button has been added to the front page, which still solicits donations. The other pages on the site have been restored.
